The ENOVA Pulse Driver Glove is a new approach to guitar performance, combining electromagnetic string excitation, fingertip lighting, visual feedback, and a wearable design into one expressive playing system.

At the tip of the index finger is a compact Harmonic Driver electromagnetic coil. When positioned close to a guitar string, the coil generates a changing magnetic field that excites the string and keeps it vibrating without requiring physical contact.

This means the player can approach the strings from different angles, move between strings freely, create sustained notes and harmonics, and explore gestures that are difficult or impossible with a conventional pick or handheld string driver.

Harmonic Driver built into your fingertip

The key part of the system is integrated directly into the index fingertip.

Instead of holding a separate handheld driver, the playing element moves naturally with your hand. Bring the index fingertip close to a ferromagnetic guitar string and the electromagnetic field interacts with the string, causing it to vibrate.

A red LED positioned directly at the index fingertip provides visual feedback and makes the interaction particularly striking during live performance.

The adjacent fingertip features a white LED, creating a second visual reference point and allowing the two fingers to produce a distinctive red-and-white performance effect.

The LEDs are located at the actual tips of the fingers rather than on the back of the glove, keeping the visual feedback aligned with the player’s movements.

External Pulse Driver control module

To keep the glove lightweight, the main electronics are housed in a separate compact control module rather than being mounted on the hand.

The matte-black ENOVA Pulse Driver Control Module measures approximately 5 × 5 × 2.5 cm and can be attached to a guitar strap using its integrated rear clip.

The module includes a red power/status light and an audio-reactive EQ light window. Behind the diffused window are five LEDs arranged as 3 green, 1 yellow and 1 red, producing a dynamic visual response to the incoming audio signal.

The electronics stay off your hand, while only the coil, LEDs, wiring and connector remain on the glove.

Magnetic wrist connection

A 6-pin magnetic connector links the glove to the control module.

The flat multi-conductor cable runs from the base module to a detachable magnetic connector at the wrist. This allows the glove to be connected and disconnected quickly without dealing with a conventional plug every time.

The magnetic interface also makes the system cleaner for performance and helps reduce mechanical stress on the wiring if the cable is accidentally pulled.

Designed for performance

The Pulse Driver Glove is built around movement rather than a fixed playing position. Because the driver follows your index finger, you can move across the strings naturally and experiment with distance, angle, harmonic response and sustain while keeping your hand free.

The black full-finger glove uses a dotted grip surface and minimal ENOVA branding at the wrist, giving it a technical appearance without loading the hand with a large electronics enclosure.

The separate strap-mounted base keeps most of the weight away from the hand, making the glove better suited to longer playing sessions and live use.

Connections & operation

The control module includes a 3.5 mm AUX input and USB-C power input.

The AUX connection supplies the guitar/audio signal used by the Pulse Driver electronics, while USB-C provides power to the system. The device is designed to operate with the AUX signal connected.

The flat glove cable exits directly from the control module and terminates in the magnetic 6-pin wrist connection.
